As Commercial Sales Specialist you will play a crucial role in administering and optimizing rebate and co-op programs. You will be responsible for managing rebate agreements, processing rebate claims, analyzing rebate data, and ensuring accurate payments. Additional responsibility includes management of co-op program to include fund calculations, program guidelines development and administration, vendor and site management.  You will work closely with internal departments like finance, sales, marketing and legal to ensure that rebates and co-op programs are aligned with company goals and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Rebate & Co-Op Program Management, calculation and processing:

  • Oversee and manage the lifecycle of rebate agreements, including contract setup, revisions, and expirations.
  • Ensure compliance with rebate contract terms and conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records of rebate agreements and related documents.
  • Calculate rebates based on agreed-upon terms and sales performance data.
  • Review and process rebate claims from customers and internal teams.
  • Handle discrepancies, resolve disputes, and perform necessary adjustments to rebate payments.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze rebate data to identify trends, opportunities for optimization, and cost-saving measures.
  • Prepare detailed reports on rebate activity, financial impacts, and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with sales and finance teams to align rebate programs with business objectives.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work with sales, finance, and legal teams to ensure rebate programs are designed effectively and comply with company policies.
  • Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to address rebate-related inquiries.
  • Collaborate on audits, ensuring rebate programs adhere to regulatory standards.

System Management:

  • Utilize ERP systems, rebate management tools, or custom software to track rebate agreements and performance.
  • Maintain and update rebate databases, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Recommend improvements to rebate management systems and processes to increase efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in rebate and co-op management, financial analysis, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience working with large datasets and financial modeling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, SFDC and rebate management software or similar.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple rebate programs and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in industries with complex rebate structures.
  • Knowledge of pricing strategies and contract negotiations.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for rebate reporting.

This role will be remote but require up to 25% travel. You will also find that you will be working on multiple US time zones, therefore hours will be flexible.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $73,500.00 and $102,900.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law. Apply
