Compensation:  $125,000 - $135,000 per year. You are eligible to a Short-Term Incentive Plan with the target at 7.5% of your annual earnings, terms and conditions apply.

Commercial Learning and Development Manager - (Remote, USA)

 

As Ambry’s Commercial Learning and Development Manager – Hereditary Cancer Testing/Rare Disease, you will coordinate and deliver training and related support for the Commercial Team to include Account Executives, Area Sales Directors, Genomic Science Liaisons, Digital Health, Enterprise Teams, Business Development, and other roles as needed. The Commercial Learning and Development Manager will be responsible, in conjunction with the Commercial Learning and Development team, for contributing to the evaluation and improvements to current learning paths, recommending and implementing solutions, and contributing to the development and execution of the Commercial Learning and Development Strategic plan.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and maintain content for Field Team Foundations New Hire Program
    • Account Executives
    • Area Sales Directors
    • Genetic Science Liaisons (in cooperation with Clinical Operations L&D)
  • Develop and maintain ongoing training for the field team as needs arise.
  • Partner with Area Sales Directors to ensure effectiveness of new hire training.
  • Partner with Clinical Operations L&D to ensure alignment on clinical messaging with Genomic Science Liaison team.
  • Develop strong partnerships with the Marketing Product Teams to ensure alignment of current organization objectives.
  • Collaborate with other L&D Managers to ensure relevant content is shared across the organization.
  • Anticipated 30% + travel
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Education, Organizational Development, Business Administration, related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years related experience in genetic services, product management and/or sales
  • 2+ years sales or sales training experience in healthcare or life sciences
  • Understanding of the medical diagnostics industry, with a willingness to learn about regulatory requirements and compliance standards specific to healthcare.
  • Experience or coursework in training, facilitation, or adult education principles. Internships or volunteer work in training and development
  • Familiarity with instructional design principles, including understanding how to create engaging and effective training materials.
  • Proficiency with computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and a willingness to learn to use learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team and build positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A strong desire to learn and grow within the role, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.


Preferred:

  • Sales training experience in Diagnostics Industry
  • Experience in creating and conducting team-based educational sessions or advanced organizational development degree
  • Experience with creating training content is a plus.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate training needs and assess the effectiveness of training programs. Experience with data collection and analysis.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
