Job Description:

The Commercial Finance Analyst is responsible for supporting the Commercial Finance Business Partner with financial management of our clients, their commercial agreements, reporting and general day-to-day activities. The Analyst will work closely with the various functional teams (especially Client Accounting) to ensure financial elements of the client relationship are accurately tracked, monitored and communicated. This is a high visibility as it supports a business leader(s) who has a “seat at the leadership table” with their respective management teams.

Finance:

  • Track revenues vs. budget and research variance drivers
  • Assist in the budget & forecast process
  • Work with client teams to ensure revenue tracking systems are up to date
  • Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed - Assist Commercial Finance Business Partners with special projects.
  • Assist with providing advice on strategic financial plans in partnership with business leaders to make key decisions and achieve targets
  • Provide support identifying and driving operational improvement through analysis of financial plans
  • Support analysis of client profitability and identify and support initiatives to improve profitability/margin
  • Facilitate management of revenue forecast in MSFT D365 and pipeline within Salesforce
  • This position is responsible for handling highly confidential information, requiring an ability to maintain and display high ethical standards including confidentiality, discretion, and exemplary judgment with respect to such information.

Qualifications:

  • Finance/Accounting degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of finance or accounting experience
  • High proficiency in Excel including pivot tables, lookups, sumifs, complex formulas, and charts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Work well independently or as part of a team
  • Tenacity to follow-through on open items to complete assignments and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The anticipated salary range for this position is ($78,000-$126,500). Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
