Job Summary

As a Commercial Energy Services Intern you are a member of one of IGS’s fast-paced emerging businesses, responsible for running key parts of the day-to-day business operations.  This intern position will be responsible for solar market research, financial modeling and helping in the review and development of new solar opportunities.   The candidate will interact extensively with our sales and operations teams.

We are looking for someone with analytical skills who will take on this uniquely challenging and rewarding position that requires a competitive work ethic, strong communication and interpersonal skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a drive to succeed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Market research regarding solar feasibility
  • Financial modeling of solar assets
  • Support business development efforts

Required Skills:

  • Strong communication and team-building skills a necessity
  • Ability to effectively interpret data and translate/communicate suggestions in a clear and concise way
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
  • Business, Finance, or Marketing Major preferred

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree or majoring in Business Administration, IT, Economics, or other applicable field
  • Solar/Renewable Energy experience or interest a plus
  • Intermediate skills in all MS Office Applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, SharePoint)

Salary Range:

$31,200.00 - $52,000.00

*This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.
