You will...- Lead and support legal contract negotiations on a variety of transactions including master supply agreements, service agreements, license agreements, NDAs, and more.   - Develop and maintain contract templates. - Collaborate closely with Waabi’s global supply chain team on contract databases and contract processes for Waabi.- Expand your knowledge of regulatory compliance as it applies to Waabi’s operations and assist with day-to-day compliance management.- Manage day-to-day insurance matters.- Draft business policies and lead yearly reviews of policies.- Be part of a team of multidisciplinary operations managers, procurement professionals, commercial negotiators and policy leaders among others, using an AI-first approach to enable safe self-driving at scale.
Qualifications:- Juris Doctor and qualified to practice law in at least one U.S. state, with California, New York or Texas preferred. - 5-8 years of experience in commercial contracting at an automotive company, fast-paced hardware technology company and/or in private practice (business law).- Demonstrated experience tackling thorny issues in hardware and part supply contracts.- Solid understanding of how to balance contractual risk with sustainable contracting provisions based on company stage. …
