ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Cloud Platform Engineer specializing in AWS, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-native solutions using AWS services. Your expertise in serverless architectures, particularly with AWS Lambda and DynamoDB, will be crucial in developing scalable back-end systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and reliability. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced technologies and contribute to the evolution of our cloud strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain serverless applications using AWS services, including Lambda and DynamoDB.
- Implement and manage database solutions using Aurora Serverless and pgVector for efficient data processing and storage.
- Collaborate with development teams to support the deployment and integration of applications within the AWS environment.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, for automated deployment and management of cloud resources.
- Architect and optimize networking solutions within AWS to ensure high performance and security.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure to maintain optimal performance and reliability.
- Stay current with emerging AWS technologies and best practices, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong focus on AWS.
- Proficiency in AWS serverless technologies, particularly Lambda and DynamoDB.
- Experience with Aurora Serverless and pgVector for database solutions.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform.
- Strong understanding of AWS solution architecture and networking concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A commitment to continuous learning and keeping up with industry trends and technologies.
