Clinical Specialist - Cardiology Focused - Contract/Part Time/Weekends

This role is a remote, part time, mostly weekends, 8-12 hours a day, intermittent monitoring and follow-up for our patients. The Clinical Specialist plays a critical role as the clinical interface between healthcare professionals, patients, and the business. They will serve as a clinical/technical resource to facilitate optimal product performance and an exceptional customer experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Provide clinical and technical support to customer and field team inquiries (remote and on-site)
  • Communicate with healthcare professionals, patients, and field team to resolve product challenges
  • Monitor patient population usage, trends and alerts and responding accordingly
  • Provide insight, guidance, and feedback to engineering and management on product performance and customer feedback
  • Support pre-clinical and clinical study activities for new products
  • Support clinical study analysis, reporting and publications
  • Represent the company at tradeshows, customer events, and clinical accounts and solicit feedback.
  • Provide training and educational support for customers and peers
  • Work with cross functional colleagues including engineering, legal, regulatory, operations, finance, customer service, sales, and marketing to drive alignment and execution of commercial strategies in support of business objectives.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, nursing or life sciences
  • Minimum of 4 years’ cardiac rhythm management experience (device clinic, EP lab, Cardiac ICU, Telemetry or device company)
  • Experience working with patients
