Maximus is looking for a Clinical Research Coordinator to play a crucial role in our clinical trials, serving as the linchpin between patients, investigators, and our research organization. This position offers a unique opportunity to spearhead onsite efforts in a dynamic clinic and startup environment. You will be at the forefront of patient care and medical advancement, managing various aspects of clinical trials from recruitment to data management.
This position will report into and work closely with our Clinical Research Scientist, Gabriel Alizaidy, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of tasks. This role offers significant opportunities for professional growth, allowing you to take on numerous trial responsibilities in support of the physician investigator.

Responsibilities:
Leading patient recruitment, enrollment, and study visits
Conducting clinical and lab procedures
Ensuring protocol management and adherence
Maintaining high data quality standards
Training and mentoring junior research staff
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written
Proficiency in data management and query resolution
Experience with or willingness to learn clinical trial protocols and regulatory requirements
Ability to perform technical procedures such as remote phlebotomy and lab processing
Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with patients, investigators, and team members
Adaptability and problem-solving skills to navigate the dynamic research environment
Commitment to patient education and the informed consent process
Expertise in using GSuite/Sheets and Electronic Medical Records
Ability to create and maintain project timelines and status reports
Experience in or willingness to learn about study medication dispensing and prescription management
Strong sense of ethics and commitment to regulatory compliance
Teamwork mentality and self-awareness
Empathy and dedication to creating an exceptional patient and provider experience
Bonus Points For:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Nursing, Life Sciences, Public Health)
Previous experience in clinical research coordination is preferred but not required
Certification as a Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) is a plus
