About the job
As a key member of the clinical leadership team, the Clinical Manager supports and independently manages an interdisciplinary team, oversees the delivery of high-quality and efficient care, and ensures an exceptional patient care delivery experience with every encounter.
While this is a fully remote role, please note you will be expected to work core business hours that align with Pacific Time.
What you’ll do
- Supervise interdisciplinary team members, including Registered Nurses, Social Workers, and Medical Assistants and perform annual reviews.
- Ensure adequate and efficient patient care coverage
- Manage clinical quality initiatives
- Support the achievement of KPIs assigned to the care delivery team
- Collaborate with Providers and multidisciplinary professional staff to enhance patient care, implement change and develop process improvements
- Ability to provide leadership in the areas of conflict resolution, mentoring, skilled decision making, time management, adaptability and dedication
- Flex to direct patient care delivery as needed to support organizational goals
- Development of and assist in onboarding of newly hired clinical staff (RN, SW, Provider, MA)
- Ensure team regulatory compliance (state license renewal, certification check-offs, etc.)
Your experience and qualifications
- Current California RN license required, with the ability to obtain additional state licensure as needed
- 5+ years in direct care delivery role as a RN or MSW
- 2+ years of experience in palliative care, hospice care, or complex care management
- 2+ years of people management experience
- Adheres consistently to the company's policies and guidelines, ensuring professional integrity.
- Utilizes video conferencing technology effectively for remote collaboration and communication.
- Demonstrates efficient resource management, optimizing the use of assets and tools.
- Actively engages in fostering and nurturing positive relationships with all stakeholders and partners of the company.
- Maintains strict confidentiality of information, fully compliant with HIPAA regulations and standards.
- Strong understanding of cultural competency with the target population
Preferred Qualifications:
- CHPN or RN certification
- Oregon, Washington, and/or Idaho RN licensure
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Compensation and benefits
- Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000 annually, based on factors such as experience, skills, location, company needs, and market demands.
- California Salary Range: Due to state-specific market demands, the salary range for California is higher and falls between $100,000 - $125,000 annually.
