Salary Range: $80,000 - $85,000
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Clinical Education, the Clinical Education Manager oversees the creation, execution, and delivery of both clinical and technical learning and training strategies and programs - Electronic Medical Records Systems, Practice Management Systems, and all frequently used systems across the enterprise. This position will lead in conducting ongoing assessment of training needs, measuring success, aligning with business metrics, and influencing change. The Clinical Education Manager will be able to utilize high-level project management and organizational skills to lead important programs and through their team, peers, and partners to achieve results.
Responsibilities:
Needs Assessment & Training Development
- Lead the creation and implementation of Training Needs Assessment with cross-functional leaders and subject matter experts.
- Conduct a Training Needs Assessment for all submitted training requests to understand the level of need, determine timing, identify subject matter experts, and identify delivery methods.
- Collaborate and work in partnership with clinical and administrative staff, as well as senior leadership to ensure a high level of patient care, quality, and compliance is upheld.
- Develop and/or maintain training and development resources that will ensure sustainable learning including training manuals, e-learning, other training programs, and materials.
- Ensure all training templates, forms, and processes are standardized and updated on a routine basis.
- Review and report on course evaluations while working with the clinical leadership team to make the change recommendations based on feedback received.
- Evaluate and report on training program’s effectiveness, success, and return on investment to ensure that training is meeting business needs and improving performance.
Training Delivery
- Ensure the seamless coordination of logistics of all learning and training activities in all formats: classroom, virtual, on-the-job, synchronous, asynchronous, etc.
- Facilitate delivery of training modules, including recording of modules for asynchronous delivery.
- Lead the design and roll-out of training support systems to meet the needs of a high-growth organization (Preceptor Programs, Train-the-Trainer Programs, etc.).
- Assess learner post-training capabilities and partner with the Director of Clinician Development and Director of Clinical Operations in creating mitigation plans.
Process and Technology
- Oversee the design and development of instructional materials in a variety of learning formats ensuring that learning technologies are leveraged where possible including periodic reviews with Clinician Training Specialist and stakeholders and getting final approval from Director, Clinical Education.
- Assist with learning support issues received via the Learning Support Request Form, including mitigating escalations.
- Oversee utilization of LMS to manage and optimize the administration of all training activities and learner data including transcripts, compliance records, and certification as appropriate.
- Periodically assess LMS to ensure organizational training needs continue to be met.
Project Management
- Create, update, and share project plans with the internal team and leadership to align on timelines and end-user impact.
- Partner closely with Director of Clinical Education in the execution of training projects and ensure they are completed within the required timeframe and project scope.
- Maintain and update the master project list to ensure resources are allocated appropriately.
Required Education/Experience
- Master’s-level clinical training (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent).
- Must be familiar with the Collaborative Care model and have documented experience working with or in primary care settings.
- Minimum of 2+ years of clinical and training experience.
Qualifications/Skills
- Working knowledge of Electronic Health Records and Practice Management Systems.
- Working knowledge of project management tools.
- Working knowledge of LMS systems with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- A proven track record of continuous process improvement; positive leadership; strong planning, collaboration, and teamwork skills; and connecting solutions to business outcomes.
- Conducting needs analysis, leading current/future state road mapping.
- Comprehensive knowledge of learning and development principles including familiarity with instructional design, technology-based learning, adult learning theory, skill development, change management, and process design.
- Effectively managing change and shifting gears comfortably; highly effective in ambiguous environments and able to produce maximum results with little direction and guidance.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively across mediums and with diverse audiences.
- Relationship builder who can influence across all levels, functions, and cultures.
- Client-service oriented with strong critical thinking and conflict resolution skills.
- Possess excellent time management and organizational skills; is a self-starter Schedule.
Selection Process: Three Stages
- Qualified candidates will be scheduled for a 30-minute virtual interview to discuss their experience, qualifications, and base salary expectations, as well as to provide an overview of Concert Health’s Collaborative Care Model.
- Following this, candidates who meet the necessary criteria will have a 45-minute virtual interview with our leadership team.
- Finally, those candidates who possess the required experience and qualifications will participate in a 30-minute virtual interview with the Chief Medical Officer.
