Compensation: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour. You are eligible for a Short-Term Incentive/Sales Incentive Plan with the target at 3% of your annual earnings; terms and conditions apply.
Clinical Assistant I: Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm (Remote USA)
Job Overview:
A Clinical Assistant I provides support to various departments by monitoring lab/reporting processes, troubleshooting amongst various Ambry-specific systems, and acting as the liaison between internal and external groups. A Clinical Assistant I reliably coordinates internal cases and provides technical and clinical information in a professional manner to clients and patients via various communication methods including phone calls, Ambry Message, and email. Additionally, a Clinical Assistant I provides crucial contributions to specialized workflows, projects, improve processes, and/or other tasks based on Company need.
Essential Functions:
- Deliver precise technical and clinical expertise: Provide clear, accurate, and timely technical and clinical information to clients and patients through diverse communication channels (i.e. phone calls, emails, Ambry Messages). Ensure thorough follow-up to gather order-specific data and documentation while consistently delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Clinical inquiry management and prioritization: Serve as a critical point of contact for internal teams, managing and triaging clinical inquiries with efficiency and precision to ensure prompt resolution, and maintain smooth workflow operations.

Optimize workflow execution and operational efficiency: Consistently execute defined tasks within internal processes with precision and reliability, driving operational excellence. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to identify discrepancies, take corrective action, and escalate issues as needed to ensure continuity and quality.

Case monitoring, auditing, and reporting: Proactively track, audit, and manage cases through the lab and reporting phases. Utilize personal and team worklists to maintain oversight, ensure timely completion, and ensure alignment with quality standards.

Test management and data integrity: Review, document, manage, and accession various test types, identifying inconsistencies requiring manual intervention. Apply critical thinking to assess issues and determine appropriate steps to resolve or escalate as necessary, maintaining data accuracy and compliance.

Continuous knowledge and learning: Stay well-versed in evolving product offerings, policies, protocols, and information technology systems to deliver optimal service and support to internal teams and external clients, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.

Cross-functional collaboration and process optimization: Engage in ongoing cross-functional collaboration, leveraging expertise to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies across multiple product lines, driving impactful solutions and streamlining workflows.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.

Experience with multi-tasking responsibilities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

General computer & Microsoft Office suite proficiency.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
- Flexibility regarding job assignment and changes to workflow.
- Additional skills: organized, time management and prioritization, problem-solving, and troubleshooting.
Preferred:
• Experience working in the healthcare industry preferred, but not required.
• Customer service experience preferred, but not required.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
