Compensation

$99,000 - $133,000/yr *This range reflects Carestream’s good faith estimate to pay fairly as starting wage. Offers will be tailored within the range based on the selected candidate’s experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process, as well as geographic market differentials for the position.

Position Summary:

The Clinical Applications Specialist independently leads identified program(s), including the organization, planning, control, evaluation/feasibility, measurement, analysis, and overall execution of the assigned program(s). Responsible for identifying and analyzing clinical marketing opportunities and recommending actions to be taken including internal opportunities such as new products or services and external opportunities such as clinical messaging, product feature enhancements, clinical education opportunities, data and image analysis, curation, and collection. Develop key clinical messaging, documentation and clinical value propositions for our products.

This role will be remote, with preference to candidates in the Eastern or Central U.S.

•    Works closely with the business and commercial teams to gather and understand customer needs, pain points and desired gains and reflect in the development of our value proposition through Voice of Customers
•    Partner with the Product Line Manager and Product Marketing Manager in the support of all commercial activities.  May include clinical input and validation of products
•    Ability to influence and present information to all levels of the organization
•    Coordinates with multiple discipline as required to drive completion of projects as needed
•    Product documentation - may include quick reference cards, software guides, hardware guides, safety and regulatory guides and training material
•    Provide support for product escalations from start to completion
 

Position Responsibilities:

•    Provide leadership and management for clinical inputs, curation, and message delivery for Carestream products, programs, projects, and promotions.
•    Create a disciplined operating environment with global and regional teams resulting in a highly efficient and customer focused model; drive the highest levels of internal and external customer satisfaction. 
•    Develop messaging and positioning for Carestream integrated solutions that will differentiate products from a clinical perspective and identify how they address our customers’ needs. 
•    Develop and manage the collection of Carestream clinical images for internal and external customer utilization.
•    Developing and maintaining of documentation. (user guides, training guides, quick reference guides)
•    Works with the Training organizations to develop and deliver equipment training (Application Consultant, Project Managers and others)
•    Provides input into corrective action team
•    Understand regulatory and clinical trial needs and create long term strategic plan to expand our footprints in the clinical world
•    Elevates issues, decisions and deliverables that might derail timelines quickly for a quick resolution
•    Support and execute the new market development strategies from clinical support and education
•    Develop communication plans including presence at industry tradeshows and conducting user interviews
•    Clinical input to design requirements
•    Clinical validation and trade trial support during design phase
•    Voice of customers
•    Provide support for product escalations from start to completion
 

Required Skills & Education:

Qualifications 
•    Bachelor’s degree in medical technology  or similar and a minimum of five (5+) Radiologic Technology experience 

Relevant Experience 
•    Radiologic Technology certification with the A.R.R.T.  (preferred) or equivalent with 5 years minimum experience required.
•    Experience in related Radiology disciplines (e.g., CT, MR, US, Radiation therapy, Diagnostic Radiology) desirable 
•    Experience developing compelling clinical values proposition, voice of customer, product launches, product sales training and working on go-to-market programs.   
•    Customer-driven mentality, representing their needs in all decisions.
•    Strong clinical knowledge with imaging modalities

•    Experience developing Sales Training programs, ideally of a technical nature.  
•    Proficient in the use of software tools such as: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator.
•    Ability to travel International and Domestic.

Desired Skills:

•    Experience in related Radiology disciplines (e.g., CT, MR, US, Radiation therapy, Diagnostic Radiology) strongly desired
•    Experience developing compelling clinical values proposition, voice of customer, product launches, product sales training and working on go-to-market programs.    
•    Working knowledge of a global / international marketing organizations

Physical Requirements:
