Clinical Analyst

CACI is seeking a Clinical Analyst to support the Medical Materiel Enterprise Standardization Office (MMESO) Program within Defense Health Agency (DHA) Medical Logistics (MEDLOG). The candidate will be an experienced healthcare professional across multiple clinical and technical settings who is interested in a challenging, intellectually stimulating work environment.
In the role, as a Clinical Analyst, you will apply your clinical expertise, research and problem solving skills while working closely with our Data Analyst to conduct technical analyses and facilitate standardization of medical supplies across the MHS.
Additional Programmatic Information:
The primary purpose of the MMESO Program is to facilitate the selection and sourcing of clinically vetted materiel for use across the Military Health System (MHS) in order to improve clinical outcomes, enhance readiness and training, control costs, and improve interoperability.
More About the Role:
In the Clinical Analyst role, you will:
Collaborate within a cross-functional team of data, logistics and clinical analysts to produce high quality Standardization Actions for the MHS Enterprise
Apply critical thinking skills to conduct comprehensive market research on medical supply items to include analysis of historical usage, clinical practices guidelines, and industry best practices to identify product attributes, features and requirements for usage within the healthcare environment
Identify and collaborate with clinical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), proactively solicit SME input and facilitate the development of relevant and appropriate clinical requirements and evaluation methods to support quality product selection
Analyze and assess barriers to meeting quality and schedule standards for standardization action projects assigned. Provide courses of action to mitigate project issues and risks. Develop and present recommendations to facilitate timely and informed decision making
Develop, submit and maintain standardization project documentation in a timely, complete and accurate manner, consistent with MMESO Program guidance
Actively participate in peer reviews, objectively assess project documentation, and provide constructive feedback to teammates to enhance the quality of project outcomes
Assume additional responsibilities as required by the Program Manager and Project Manager
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Must be a US Citizen and be able to pass a National Agency Check with Local Law and Credit (NACLC)
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or other related clinical discipline is required. A degree or certificate in Healthcare Informatics is highly desirable.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in clinical practice
Demonstrated experience in data collection, research, requirements analysis and documentation preparation
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Able to clearly communicate data and concepts in written and verbal formats both within internal working groups and to external stakeholders
Strong ability to successfully manage several complex tasks in a timely, effective manner
Demonstrated ability to be proactive, think independently, and work collaboratively with a multi-functional team
Able to think critically, make objective assessments and provide constructive feedback
Actively works toward continuing personal learning and development
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point)
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
Nursing experience in critical care areas (e.g., ICU, Emergency Department) is highly desirable
Understanding of medical supply chain/logistics operations
Understanding of the DoD MHS enterprise including the operational/deployed environment
Experience using Microsoft Teams or other virtual collaboration platforms

The proposed salary range for this position is:
