Position Summary

The Client Support Liaison is responsible for ensuring the successful onboarding, partnering, and training of clients on integration, EMR, and billing functions, operations, interfacing, and related systems to assist in maintaining a high performing team and support ongoing business objectives and goals.

Participates in ongoing system upgrades; creates, documents, and implements training courses; evaluates root cause of errors to reduce controllable adjustments, and makes recommendations for innovative efficiencies within EMR/Billing and corresponding operations. Works closely with Business Development, Finance, and IT. They will be interfacing with both internal and external clients.

Essential Functions

  • Accurately and promptly responds to client inquires related to EMR and Billing issues.

  • Effectively onboards new client accounts related to necessary processes and protocols to assure streamlined EMR and Billing practices. 

  • Periodic reviews of EMR and Billing issues and enact plans on how to counteract any concerns.

  • Makes recommendations to improve workflow necessary to support appropriate EMR and Billing interfacing.

  • Supports Client Services dept with EMR and Billing questions/concerns.

  • Serves as NWCL EMR and Billing experts and bridge communications with outsourced LIS/Billing providers (SCC/Xifin).

  • Attends client meetings, to support business development or address customers' concerns.

  • Keeps up with lab EMR/Billing best practices and works to ensure such practices are being followed.

Requirements

  • High School degree/(GED)

  • 3-5 year’s experience in laboratory/physician/hospital LIS/EMR

  • Experience with EMR/LIS in a clinic setting preferred
