The Group:

 

The Sustainalytics Client Implementation Team works directly with investor clients to ensure the efficient integration and sound technical understanding of Sustainalytics data solutions promoting a positive client experience. We further work with leading financial services platforms to support the accessibility of Sustainalytics' products within 3rd party platform environments. Our objective is to eliminate friction for clients during technical onboarding and through change management, ensuring Sustainalytics has a consistent, systematic approach.

The Role:

The Client Implementation team seeks an enthusiastic, results-driven Implementation Senior Associate to be a key point of contact for the client during their technical onboarding. This role will interact extensively with clients, and internal stakeholders to support the implementation of Sustainalytics datasets within the client’s system or through third party platforms. You will partner closely with members of the Commercial and Data Services organizations to ensure smooth ingestion and maintenance of Sustainalytics datasets.


This position allows you to obtain a thorough understanding of how ESG factors can be implemented into client workflows through the investment value chain. There is opportunity to work in a cross-functional environment, quickly assume new responsibilities, and be a dedicated resource for how clients interact and consume ESG data to internal and external stakeholders alike.
The position will report to the Director, Client Implementation and will be based in our Chicago office.

 

Responsibilities  

·         Work cross-functionally with various Sustainalytics and Morningstar teams to manage all aspects of client implementation 

·         Be the subject matter expert for Sustainalytics, Morningstar and third-party delivery channels globally. Linking the best fit solution for the client 

·         Be an escalation point for client issues during implementation, and work with stakeholders to resolve any issues 

·         Support business development and product management teams for client meeting preparation 

·         Support onboarding for Sustainalytics’ clients 

·         Create and maintain third party integration specifications as required 

Qualifications 

·        Relevant work experience in the financial services industry with client facing experience (ideally a minimum of 4years).

·         Degree in related discipline (business, finance, environment and/or social sciences) or Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience.

·         Strong understanding of information flow across the investment landscape.

·         Strong project leadership skills and able to produce results in a cross-functional environment.

·         Ability to work successfully in a global, dispersed team and company.

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills.

·         Self-motivated and able to work independently with ambiguity.

·         Experience supporting the execution of an implementation plan for relationships, leading to growth.

·         Ability to accommodate occasional travel across North America.

·         Alignment with Sustainalytics’ mission, vision and values.

Base Salary Compensation Range

$94,280.00 - 169,720.00 USD Annual

Total Cash Compensation Range

$117,850.00 - 212,150.00 USD Annual
