Client Account Assistant

The Client Account Assistant (CAA) supports and collaborates with Client Account Specialists and Attorney Assistants to handle time narrative edits, while ensuring a high level of client service and satisfaction are maintained. CAA guarantees timely and accurate support in all areas of the position.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Assist with the editing and proofing of proformas
- All members of the firm participate in our Responsible Business program
- Other duties as assigned by Client Account Team Lead and/or Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Excellent proofreading and wordsmithing skills
- Ability to prepare accurate and detailed work product
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with managers and peers
- Strong organizational skills while managing large amounts of data and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects with minimal supervision
- Experience working independently, within cross-functional teams, in a collaborative, professional environment
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Basic math skills to perform billing and reporting tasks
- Exercises good judgment and decision making
- Talent for delivering client service through teamwork
- Reliability, dependability, and strong motivation to respond to requests quickly
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a business discipline preferred
- Hands-on experience performing accounting tasks preferred
- Law firm or professional services background preferred
HOURS
Core hours are Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. or 10 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., including one hour for lunch with flexibility for additional hours and travel. With respect to agile working and hybrid schedules, our goal is to embed flexibility across our business by giving everyone the opportunity to work in an agile way, whether as a regular pattern or on an ad hoc basis, and we will be happy to discuss this further. This position is eligible to be fully remote.
This position is available in multiple locations. In Washington, DC, the annualized salary range for this position is $39,000 to $58,500 depending on the candidate's overall experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. In addition, full time employees as well as some part time employees, will be eligible for the firm’s fringe benefits as they currently exist.
