Civil Project Manager (Hybrid Remote)

Respoonsibilities
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage civil engineering projects, ensuring successful completion within scope, time, and budget parameters.
- Team Management: Supervise and mentor project engineers, designers, and drafting staff. Provide guidance and support to the team, promoting collaboration and efficiency.
- Client Interaction: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, understanding client requirements, and providing progress updates.
- Design Oversight: Oversee and review the preparation of civil engineering designs and drawings, including grading, drainage, utility systems, and roadways, using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, including local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Budget and Scheduling: Develop project budgets, timelines, and resource allocations. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to stay on track.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and take proactive measures to mitigate them. Address any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Construction Support: Provide technical support during the construction phase, including site visits and coordination with contractors to ensure design intent is realized in the field.
- Quality Control: Perform quality control checks on project deliverables to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed project records, including contracts, schedules, and communications. Prepare and deliver project reports to clients, stakeholders, and upper management.
- Business Development: Assist in identifying new business opportunities and expanding the company’s client base. Participate in proposal development and presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering design and project management.
- Proven experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D for civil design tasks and project execution.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices, including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway design.
- Demonstrated success managing complex infrastructure projects from start to finish.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant design and project management software.
