Position Summary:

Prepared Hero is looking for a seasoned COO to join our rapidly expanding direct-to-consumer (DTC) brand that provides products to customers around the world.  Reporting to the CEO, the COO will be a key member of the leadership team responsible for setting the vision and strategy for our DTC, Amazon, and retail distribution channels.  We are looking for a thought leader who can coach and mentor our operations team, plan the team's quarterly objectives, and work cross-functionally across the business with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have played a similar role scaling DTC eCommerce brands with a +$50m/year topline revenue and has experience expanding into retail channels. 

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement Ops strategies in North America, Europe and Australia for online (DTC, Amazon) and offline (retail) channels that align with the company's vision. Work closely with the CEO and other key executives to shape our future direction.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Lead, motivate, and develop high-performance teams to ensure they are aligned with the company's growth objectives and executing on quarterly objectives.
  • Operational Excellence: Own operations and processes for supply chain while supporting marketing and product.
  • Financial Performance and Viability: Develop, monitor, and implement comprehensive business plans that improve cost-efficiency and overall financial health.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with partners, current and prospective suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that operations run smoothly.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Encourage innovation, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement across all operational areas.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as Chief Operating Officer or relevant role with +$50m topline revenue across DTC, Platform (Amazon) and offline (retail) channels.
  • Experience leading 5+ direct report managers/leads through Management By Objective or similar frameworks (EOS, OKR’s, etc).
  • Cross--functional experience with marketing and product development teams.
  • Proficient with Ecommerce supply chain management.
  • Fluent in understanding business functions of Finance, HR and Technology.
  • Familiarity with E-Commerce Business infrastructure and Ops tech stack.
  • Aptitude in decision-making, driving progress and accuracy.
