Position:Chief Medical Officer, AI and Technology SolutionsPosition Summary:Serves as a key member of the Lumeris Clinical Team. Functions in a clinical operations role as a member of the operations team and serves as the clinical lead for Lumeris' unique Provider Population Health Services Organization (PHSO) operating partnerships with Health Systems and Physician Organizations. Collaborates across a matrixed entrepreneurial culture to provide clinical and population health management expertise, direction, and strategy specifically focusing on clinical operations, physician engagement, clinical practice transformation, care delivery model design, and execution.Job Description:Position Summary
The Chief Medical Officer, AI and Technology Solutions will play a pivotal role in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our cutting-edge AI solution. This role combines clinical expertise with visionary leadership to ensure that our technology effectively supports primary care teams, enhances patient engagement, and integrates seamlessly within healthcare operations.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership
- Provide clinical insights to guide the development and refinement of technology capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clinical relevance and accuracy within AI operations.
- Advocate for patient-centered, evidence-based practices within the technology.
Strategic Development
- Shape the strategic direction of tech functionalities to align with primary care practices.
- Identify emerging trends in healthcare technology and incorporate relevant advancements.
- Oversee the design and implementation of AI-driven patient engagement strategies, such as follow-ups and preventive care outreach.
- Ensure technology effectively assists providers with EMR integration, scheduling optimization, and clinical decision support.
- Champion innovative solutions to expand our technology’s role in
enhancing provider efficiency and patient outcomes.
- Continuously evaluate and improve AI processes, workflows, and system integrations.
- Guide the development of tools that convert patient interactions into actionable insights for healthcare teams.
- Ensure that clinical decision support systems are effectively utilized and integrated.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with IT, operations, business development and clinical teams to design and implement scalable solutions.
- Engage with healthcare organizations to gather feedback and drive product enhancement.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with active board certification.
- Proven experience in primary care, clinical leadership, or health system management.
- Demonstrable expertise in healthcare technology, AI applications, and EMR systems.
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows and patient care processes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
- Enthusiasm for innovation and transforming healthcare through technology.

The hiring range for this position is:
$238,300.00-$350,575.00
