Chief Finance Officier

Chief Finance Officer – 6-month FTC 

Location: Remote 

Salary: £90,000 FTE 

Hours: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

The Role:

As our client continue to grow and evolve, they are seeking an exceptional Chief Finance Officer to lead our financial strategy and ensure long-term financial sustainability. You will be responsible for the financial leadership of the organisation, ensuring robust financial planning, risk management, and performance to support their mission and vision.        

Responsibilities:

• Lead the financial strategy, ensuring long-term sustainability and growth.
• Provide strategic advice to the CEO, Executive Team, and Board on all financial matters.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Ensure strong financial controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, regulators, and financial institutions.
• Oversee investment and funding strategies, including treasury management and fundraising.
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, promoting a culture of excellence.
• Act as a key figure in driving value for money across all services and projects.
• Ensure the organisation’s financial systems and procedures are efficient, effective, and fit for purpose.

Skills and Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or in a senior financial leadership role, ideally within the housing, social enterprise, or non-profit sector.
• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification.
• Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, including board members.
• Demonstrable experience in financial planning, risk management, and driving financial performance.
