Your Role:
The Channel Security Engineer will support and will be working with production, engineering, and research and development, as well as external sales firms to determine how Tenable products and services could be designed or modified to best suit customer needs.
Your Opportunity:
Use technical skills to demonstrate to potential customers how and why to use Tenable products
Execute "Proof of Concept" evaluations of Tenable products against customer requirements
Maintain current customer relationship and develop new ones
Potentially help identify and develop new product concepts
Provide status reports including trends in territory, upcoming events, follow-up and adherence to goals
Other related duties as required
What You'll Need:
Experience with Nessus or other network scanning technologies
Solid foundational knowledge of TCP/IP and network security concepts
Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Server at the command-line level
Knowledge of compliance standards, both domestic and international
Knowledge of specific customer service standards and procedures, both domestic and international
Ability to plan, organize and implement a range of sales programs
Must be detail oriented and capable of accurate work with minimal supervision
And Ideally:
Bachelor's Degree
5-7 years of direct SE experience
CISSP
