THE OPPORTUNITY
Silvus is seeking a Channel Sales Director to develop and expand mutually beneficial relationships with Silvus Channel Partners and position Silvus to maximize sales and revenue growth from Silvus’ strategic channel partners.
This Channel Sales Director reports to the Executive Director of Sales and works closely with Sales Directors. The successful individual in this role will also improve partner engagement, plan and execute partner presentations, oversee account profiles, monitor competitor activity, and create plans for growing market share and to communicate channel activities. This position is eligible for 100% remote work depending on location.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Partner Recruitment: Identify and recruit potential channel partners that align with the company’s objectives.
• Training and Development: Provide training and marketing materials to channel partners so that they can effectively sell and support the product.
• Sales Target Management: Set and monitor sales targets for channel partners.
• Performance Monitoring: Evaluate the performance of channel partners to ensure that revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
• Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activities and suggest adjustments to strategies.
• Conflict Resolution: Handle any conflicts between different channel partners or between the company and its partners.
• Marketing Support: Provide co-branding opportunities and marketing support to channel partners to help drive sales.
• Pricing and Contract Negotiation: Establish and renegotiate contracts, pricing, terms and conditions with channel partners.
• Product Feedback: Collect and relay feedback from channel partners to the company’s product development teams.
• Communication: Act as the main point of contact between the company and the channel partners, facilitating communication and collaboration.
• Travel Requirement: 10% average, up to 20%; occasional travel to partner sites, custom meetings, or events.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Associate degree plus 12 years of demonstrated and relevant channel management experience overseeing channel partnerships and programs within a technical industry; or Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of relevant channel management experience; or Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) plus 4 years of relevant channel sales management experience. Note that any degree must be from an accredited college or university.

• Must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Master of Science degree from an accredited university or college.
• Demonstrated channel management expertise in wireless communication systems or electronic manufacturing environments.
• Working understanding of alternative MANET technologies and their relative strengths.
• Proactive approach to problem solving.
• Detail oriented and have a firm commitment to quality.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Office environment; outdoor environment for demonstrations.
• Indoor air-conditioned facility.
• Occasional exposure to heat, cold, and allergens while performing tests and/or demonstrations in the field.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to do the following:
Lift equipment up to 25 lbs. for the set-up of demonstration and testing.
Walking/Moving in the labs.
COMPENSATION
The pay range is NOT a guarantee. It is based on market research and peer data, and will vary depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
US Pay Range$110,000—$140,000 USDNOTE - As a U.S. Federal Contractor, Silvus Technologies requires that ALL candidates being considered for employment for any position (regardless of level) MUST be a U.S. Person (permanent resident or citizen). Stricter U.S. Citizen ONLY requirements are needed for some Engineering or R&D roles. This generally does NOT apply to International positions; only job postings for positions located in the U.S. Exceptions will be included in the Required Qualifications section of the posted position.
