What this role is all about:

The Change lead role plays an integral role in ensuring efficient transitions and successful implementation of changes within the Credit Union. The incumbent will drive change management plans and activities from initiation to implementation and sustainment ensuring alignment with business objectives and project goals. As a key contact for the organization’s functional units, the Change lead will engage with leaders and other stakeholders, therefore holding sound knowledge and understanding of business initiatives and outcomes that must be considered in the implementation of change (products, people, processes, channels), and associated risks that must be interpreted, evaluated and mitigated.

What you’ll do:

Change management

  • Developing change management strategies in partnership with internal stakeholders to drive a multi-faceted approach inclusive of communications, engagement, training, hyper-care, and sustainment tactics.
  • Lead end to end execution of changes from a people perspective in partnerships with Project Managers and Business Units in alignment with the Beem Organizational Change Management (OCM) Framework.
  • Leads the change strategy planning process combining subject matter expertise and organizational knowledge to implement successful change.
  • Assessing the potential impact of proposed changes on various stakeholders, processes, systems and organization culture.
  • Ensure alignment with overarching OCM calendar of activities to mitigate change saturation risk for impacted stakeholders.
  • Applies change management methodology and project management process and practice to plan, organize and execute change management in multiple project scopes.

      Collaboration and Leadership

      • Collaborates with various stakeholders to provide business context in the design, development and implementation of change. Ensures alignment between stakeholders.
      • Providing counsel on stakeholder engagement and resistance management pre- and post-launch of new organizational initiatives.
      • Provides advice and guidance to stakeholders on implementation of change; including the evaluation of the change environment to understand complexity and impact of change reflective of business objectives.
      • Build relationships and coach respective Project Managers and Business Units on ways to best lead through change from a project and psychological standpoint.
      • Lead and support implementation and deployment of OCM tools and resources with stakeholders they collaborate with. 

            Experience & Education

            • 4-6 years of relevant experience and/or post-secondary education in related field.
            • Direct experience designing and leading execution of change management efforts. 
            • Experience working in an Agile project management environment is a plus.
            • Strong critical thinking and business acumen.
            • Excellent facilitation and coaching skills and able to influence all levels of the business.
            • Exceptional organizational skills.

            What you'll gain:

            • Competitive base salary; reviewed annually. The salary range for this position is $69,628 - $95,000.
