What you'll do here:
Cengage Student Ambassadors are part of a team whose mission is to help students gain confidence and succeed in post-secondary and beyond. Ambassadors work part-time on their local campuses with field-based Cengage employees while remaining connected virtually with their teammates and manager.
Our ambassadors help their classmates register for and learn as much as they can from their learning materials! Collaborating with Cengage professionals, our ambassadors drive awareness and usage of Cengage online learning platforms (e.g. MindTap, WebAssign), both on-campus and online. You will get real-world, resume-building experience, connect with other students, and serve a meaningful role in our organization.
Skills you will need here:
Digitally Savvy: You feel comfortable using online tools of all varieties – your campus LMS, online learning resources, video conferencing, and social media. You not only use these tools but can assist your peers with them, too.
Communication: You communicate effectively in person, via email and text, and on social media.
Public Speaking: You’re becoming a skilled presenter and enjoy giving presentations to small and large groups of post-secondary students.
Campus Leadership: You’re an influencer. You’re connected and involved on campus.
Eligibility:
Have used WebAssign for Mathematics course(s) or MindTap for Marketing course(s) in the past academic year.
Enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at a college or university in Canada, in a program that is at least two years long.
Available to work 3-5 hours/week, with a heavier time commitment during the first 2 weeks of the semester (around 10 hours/week).
Students need to be 18 years or older and, if hired, be able to provide documentation regarding eligibility to work in Canada.
Able to commit to a 12-month contract.

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.
