CDL Truck Driver & Rigger

The Opportunity

Lonestar Forklift is looking for an experienced Truck Driver & Rigger to join our team in El Paso, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for completing local deliveries to Lonestar’s Service, Sales, and Rental customers, as well as rigging orders in preparation for delivery.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

As the Truck Driver & Rigger for Lonestar, your key responsibilities will include:  

• Receive delivery requests from the Freight Coordinator
• Load and rig equipment onto transport truck/trailer
• Transport equipment to and from various destinations
• Handle all documentation relating to equipment transport
• Maintain cleanliness of all trucks and equipment
• Assist with general vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Ensure that all registrations, insurance, and CIV’s are current

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:  

• Class A commercial driver’s license
• At least three years of professional driving experience
• High school diploma
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to drive standard vehicles
• A self-starter with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude

The base pay for this role is: $26 to $29 per hour depending on experience.

This is an onsite role based in El Paso, Texas.
