Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CYP)
BABCP Accredited (Children & Young adult experience)
Nationwide (Remote)
Permanent: Part Time or Full Time
Competitive salary: From £43,000 FTE upwards

You will accept referrals from our UK insurance business and provide assessment and therapeutic interventions across a range of mental health conditions for children and young people (including interventions with adult caregivers as required) aged between 11 – 17 and liaise with relevant agencies or parties as required.
Working remotely for this role, you will be a first point of clinical contact for Children & Young People. You will provide a high quality, effective and safe mental wellbeing service via MS Teams.
You’ll help us make health happen by:
- Providing a high quality, effective and safe mental health and wellbeing service to children and young people using evidence-based practice
- To deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations that drive evidence-based intervention. To ensure a thorough assessment determines the most appropriate pathway of care and support for the client.
- To provide different models of service delivery including telephone or video consultation, depending on client preference.
- To adhere to sessional limits depending on the client’s monetary allowance as determined by their Private Medical Insurance, whilst working towards therapeutic recovery goals.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
- Full BABCP accreditation
- Experience in a similar role providing high intensity CBT interventions to children & Young persons and managing own caseload.
- 2 years + experience in Children and Young People (CYP Mental Health) / CAMHS services
- IT Skills including proficiency using Microsoft Systems as well as electronic medical record systems.
- Safeguarding and robust risk assessment experience with children and young people is essential
- Ability to present to groups and deliver training workshops also preferred
- Right to work in the UK
