Job Description
The Case Management Senior Associate Case Manager: is responsible for providing end to end support on all life insurance applications submitted for underwriting review. This begins during data collection through to release. They will work with the field, customers, vendors, internal peers. They will provide direction, support, training and escalation handling via phone, email, correspondence. The Case Manager will make non-risk related business decisions to expedite handling of the case while ensuring company, procedures and state regulations are adhered to. This position requires the ability to support the entire life underwriting new business processes to provide a frictionless customer experience while not compromising the integrity of the risk review process.Key Responsibilities
• Recognizes & resolves any escalations, questions or inquiries related to the case
• Ability to review the case and provide direction/support to ensure the file moves as quickly as possible
• Reviews the file for outstanding requirements and communicates via phone and/or email to agents, customers, vendors, management and internal peer group
• Complete and comprehensive ownership of new life insurance cases and serve as the single point of contact during the Life New Business process
• Provide training to field and internal peers on process to provide resolution for current case and improved customer experience in the future
• Analyze reports to identify issues and outliers
• Reconcile file requirements that are received and route work to the appropriate area of responsibility if needed
• Answer routine/escalated calls and email requests from agents, support staff, customers, Senior Leadership, Contact Center, vendors and internal peer group
Education
• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
Experience
• 0-2 years experience (Preferred)
Supervisory Responsibilities
• This job does not have supervisory duties.

• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation offered for this role is $22.40 - 37.60 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
