The Capture Manager is a strategic role within our company, primarily responsible for developing and executing comprehensive plans to win new business opportunities in government contracting, by thoroughly analyzing
customer needs, competitive landscapes, and crafting compelling proposals to secure contracts. This position will lead the process of capturing new business deals by strategically positioning the company to win against
competitors. 

Key responsibilities of the capture manager:

Opportunity identification and assessment: Identifying potential business opportunities, evaluating their viability and fit with the Forefront's capabilities, and determining the level of pursuit effort required.

Customer analysis: Deeply understanding the customers requirements, pain points, decision-making processes, and key stakeholders to tailor the solution accordingly.

Competitive intelligence: Conducting thorough research on competitors, analyzing their strengths and weaknesses, and developing strategies to differentiate the company's offering. 

Capture strategy development: Creating a comprehensive plan outlining the approach to win the business,
including key messaging, value proposition, pricing strategy, and teaming arrangements. 

Solution development: Collaborating with technical teams to design and develop a solution that effectively addresses the customer's needs and aligns with the capture strategy. 

Proposal management: Overseeing the entire proposal development process, including content
creation, compliance checks, and ensuring a compelling and well- structured proposal is submitted. 

Stakeholder management: Coordinating with internal teams such as sales, marketing, technical
experts, and legal to ensure all aspects of the capture process are aligned and executed efficiently. 

Relationship building: Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key customer contacts to gain insights and influence the decision-making process. 

Win probability assessment: Evaluating the likelihood of winning a particular opportunity based on the
capture strategy and competitive landscape.

 

Qualifications

Strong business acumen: Understanding of market dynamics, contract types, and government
procurement processes.

Bachelors degree and 5 years direct Government capture experience or 10 years Government capture experience.

Technical expertise: Knowledge of the industry and the solutions offered by the company 

Strategic thinking: Ability to develop and execute comprehensive capture plans with a focus on winning strategies 

Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication to convey complex ideas effectively to both internal and external stakeholders 

Leadership skills: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage the capture process effectively 

Customer focus: Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to tailor solutions
to meet them

Additional Information

Salary: $120-$130k annually
