Capital Coordinator

What you will be doing:
The Capital Coordinator collaboratively supports planning engagements through research on capital equipment, database management, report creation, and equipment related activities. This position will also contribute to accurate equipment specification and comparison reporting for effective decision-making in the procurement, analysis, and management of capital equipment. The Capital Coordinator will also participate in activities related to facilities and capital equipment planning, administering the group purchasing program to drive standardization, quality, and cost containment while reducing variation and optimizing value for health system supply chains. Additional duties may be assigned in accordance with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Data Entry/Database Management – 40%
Update and input project details in capital management software under the direction of the project lead (i.e., budget, equipment details, user notes, etc.)
Project Support – 40%
Support the team in achievement of department goals and objectives
Provide input on data collection tools and analytical methodology to use for analysis purposes
Develop and provide various reports and/or other assistance as needed
Review construction documents to determine compatibility with equipment utilities and physical characteristics
Research/Other Tasks – 20%
Maintain an understanding of capital medical equipment as technology evolves
Assist in confirming capital medical equipment configuration
Assist with conducting market research and analysis to identify emerging opportunities and trends in capital equipment sourcing
Required Qualifications
