Project Manager, Product Development & Sourcing (PDS)

Fabletics is looking for a Project Manager, PDS to build and implement the product development and sourcing calendars for the seasonal development of our merchandise.

This role will also lead project management for any special projects in the PDS organization. This is a strategic role, requiring strong partnership with other functions across the Design, Merchandising, Planning and the Supply Chain Organization. You will be responsible for the successful planning of merchandise development for Fabletics and Yitty. It will be your job to make sure that the whole Product Creation team is on time to meet their agreed upon milestones to deliver the product when expected. You’ll pro-actively identify and mitigate roadblocks and other seasonal development challenges. You will also develop KPIs and dashboard to make sure that the Product Creation team is on track to develop the right product and has the right resources to go into development.

This role will build productive relationships with stakeholders across the company and communicate status and issues to them. You’ll support the teams as they work through challenges, building and maintaining multiple interrelated project plans (internally called seasonal calendars).

This position will report to the SVP, Product Development & Sourcing.

What you will do:

• Provides strategic direction and leadership for the company’s multiple product development calendars
• Collaborate with Product Creation and Supply Chain leadership to ensure all deliverables are met, facilitating timely delivery of merchandise
• Lead the development of project plans, timelines, budgets and resource plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Own the creation of the full development lifecycle: define, manage and execute project activities including adherence to delivery schedules, budget control and stakeholder, scope and risk management
• Implement project management best practices to foster continuous improvement and efficiency within the teams.
• Collaborate with Product Creation leaders to define project parameters
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Communicate seasonal development status, outstanding issues and risks to senior management and stakeholders
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that potential issues are addressed in a timely and effective manner
• Develop and implement risk management plans to safeguard project success
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture and inspire teams to achieve their highest potential
• Ensure that development KPIs are set and reported on regularly to ensure that business is delivering against its strategic goals

What you can bring:

• 5+ years managing projects with a preference for making physical products and apparel specifically
• Manufacturing background with the ability to understand and communicate best practice concepts effectively
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills across functions
• Excellent communication, meeting management and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional ability to negotiate with and manage stakeholders functions
• Mastery of project management tools with a preference for Smartsheet
• PMP or other relevant project management certifications are a plus
• Manufacturing and apparel experience is preferred

The annual base salary range for this position is from $73,640-$85,000. The range provided includes the base salary that Fabletics expects to pay for the role. Offered base salary will be dependent on factors including the scope and complexity of the role, candidate’s related work experience, subject matter expertise and work location.
