As the Business Systems Analyst supporting Neo4j’s Finance team, you'll play a key role in analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing solutions that drive efficiency and growth. You'll partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders like Revenue Operations, Account Receivables, Deal Desk, Product Management (Billing), and the Business Systems team to ensure a seamless customer experience.

This new hire will play a key role in designing and driving the business systems roadmap for Neo4j’s Finance team. We’re looking for someone with an eye for process flows and a passion for optimization to join us as we plan for Neo4j’s future.

 

The Role:

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main Business Systems Analyst supporting Neo4j’s Finance team. You will partner closely with Finance, Revenue Operations, product management (billing) and the rest of the Business Systems team to identify, document business requirements, and develop long term solutions that realize impactful business outcomes.
  • Optimize the usability of applications in order-to-cash ecosystem with the experience of our stakeholders and customers in mind, including business process design, implementations, training, and post-go-live support.
  • Play a significant role in building the larger financial systems roadmap and ensure alignment with driving independent and collaborative initiatives from problem definition to sustained deployment.
  • Maintain professional knowledge and skills relating to your functional domain to make relevant and impactful recommendations for process and service improvements and efficiencies.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in managing and administering Order-to-Cash applications (Netsuite, Salesforce, Certinia, Workday, revenue accounting systems like Netsuite ARM)
  • Experience in multiple aspects of a full-scale implementation: vendor selection, requirements gathering, architectural design, user acceptance testing, and rollout training.
  • Understanding and demonstrated experience with current revenue recognition guidance under ASC 606.
  • Domain expertise in the customer and transaction lifecycle from New Product Introductions through Revenue Reporting.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile software development environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to form solid relationships cross-functionally.
  • Strong quantitative critical thinking skills. Enthusiasm and aptitude for working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high degree of ambiguity.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on demand despite changes in work scope or focus.

The annual base salary range for this position based in the United States is listed below. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on Neo4j’s compensation practices, job related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and trainings, in addition to geographic location. Based on the factors above, Neo4j utilizes the full width of the range.

In addition to the range below, US employees are eligible for a stock option grant and certain roles are eligible for an annual bonus. Employees in this position are also eligible to participate in the Company’s standard benefit programs, which currently include the following: medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401(k), paid time off, and certain leaves of absence.
