 The Business Systems Analysis Professional 2 performs analysis of business, process and user needs, documentation of requirements, cost/benefit analysis and translation into proper system requirement specifications. The Business Systems Analysis Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

The Business Systems Analysis Professional 2 will be responsible for Dental Network provider communications, IT enhancements, data analysis/file scrubbing for outgoing mailings, problem solving issues for Dental providers, project management of process improvements/business initiatives, and SME on identifying potential impacts to the dental network team including the provider experience. The Business Systems Analysis Professional also formulates and defines systems and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Devises or modifies procedures and processes to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Validates benefits achieved from solution implementation. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of technical experience (data analysis, IT project work, communication)
• Experience with critical thinking and problem analysis and process in the Dental network space
• Experience with Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Intermediate knowledge of creating Process Flows
• Responsible for writing/contributing to Vision and Scopes/Major features/Requirements for both IT and Business projects including provider communications
• Working knowledge of the tools and data repositories that support data extraction and manipulation
• Excellent proficiency in oral and written communication and comfort in communicating information to leadership
• Excellent skills in Time Management, Working Independently, balancing multiple priorities, and organizational skills
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Problem solving and consultation within complex environments
• Experience with ad-hoc query tools
• Knowledge of Availity system and processes
• Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle
• Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile Development Methodologies
