We are looking for an experienced Business Support Officer who will be able to hit the ground running and provide excellent minute-taking and organisational support to the Youth Engagement Team & Youth Justice Team within the Youth Engagement Service.
As part of a small, dedicated team, postholders are responsible for:
- Organising panels/meetings – both in-person and virtual,
- creating agendas,
- prepping and collating paperwork,
- taking clear and concise minutes within the Exploitation screening panel meetings.
- Preparing and Minuting the Daily, Risk Exploitation and Missing Meeting.
- logging information on our in-house database, LiquidLogic/Child View
- circulating minutes within timescales once approved by the Chair
- using and creating templates
- prioritising workload accordingly
- responding to enquiries and maintaining the generic Outlook inbox
- general clerical duties
- processing invoices on SAP
- transacting and reconciling petty cash
- Reception duties/meet and greet people
You must possess experience in taking minutes to a high standard.
The ability to prioritise workloads and working to deadlines is essential to ensure that the minutes are circulated within timescales.
This role requires a confident individual with strong literacy skills and excellent attention to detail as accuracy is crucial.
There is an expectation you will be based at our site at Young Batley but on occasion, may be asked to work in our New Street office in Huddersfield. There will also be some home-working involved.
