Job Overview

We seek a versatile and detail-oriented professional who combines the skills of a business analyst, proposal writer, and solutions engineer to join our team. This hybrid role will work closely with our CEO on costing and solutions development and collaborate with our Proposal Director to build comprehensive contracts and proposals. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have strong analytical, technical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Business Analysis: Assess business needs, gather technical requirements, and propose strategic solutions to meet client objectives
• Contract and Proposal Development: Write clear, compelling contracts and proposals, collaborating with the Deal Desk and Solutions Engineering teams to determine the level of effort, pricing, solution, and contract structures
• Solution Design: Work with subject matter experts (production leaders) to design and communicate technical solutions that meet client requirements
• Costing & Budgeting: Assist the CEO in evaluating project costs, resources, and timelines to ensure accurate estimations for contracts and proposals
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between the technical team and business stakeholders, ensuring complex ideas are effectively communicated to non-technical audiences
• Client Engagement: Provide technical insights during client meetings and contribute to solution presentations

Requirements

• Proven experience in business analysis, proposal writing, and technical solutions development
• Strong understanding of website and mobile app design and development is highly desirable
• Familiarity with AI technologies and their integration into business solutions is a strong plus
• Excellent writing skills, capable of conveying complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. A passion for grammar would be a bonus
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including production leads, clients, and senior leadership
• Familiarity with technical solution design and the ability to clearly explain these solutions to clients
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work independently and take initiative in finding solutions
• Proven ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while managing multiple projects
• Must be a team player, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive work environment
• Proficiency in using project management and proposal software is a plus
• Certifications: BA I or II, PMP, or APMP CF preferred, but not required
• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required

Compensation

• $60,000 - $70,000 USD
• Base Compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including skills, education, certifications, geographic location, and overall experience for this role
