Cigna is currently seeking a Business Project Lead Analyst. The Business Project Lead Analyst is a key component in supporting the Revenue Management team. This team includes Revenue Account Specialists, Supervisors and Reconciliation Analysts. The Analyst will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing various reporting processes to support the team. This position will also be required to lead and/or support reporting projects, process enhancements, and creation of SOPs and Knowledge Xchange articles.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Microsoft Access: Create and update Access front-end databases, including the creation of forms, queries, and VBA code
  • Visual Basic for Applications (VBA): Create and debug code used across Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access, Outlook, and Word)
  • Microsoft Access: Create and update Access front-end databases, including the creation of forms, queries, and VBA code
  • Excel: Support Adhoc analyst request for improvement to manual processes requiring extensive experience with formulas, pivot tables, and macros
  • Outlook: Create and troubleshoot VBA macros used for automated email processes
  • SQL Queries: Ability to create complex queries, joining data from multiple back-end data sources (SQL Server, DB2)
  • SQL Server Management Studio: Create and update views, queries, and stored procedures
  • Sharepoint: Create and manage Sharepoint Online pages and lists
  • Process improvement: meet with stakeholders, analyze current workflow and tools available and migrate processes to new technologies if applicable
  • Troubleshooting: Able to debug and troubleshoot issues with various tools, primarily Access databases and Excel macros
  • Documentation: Document technical projects for both developers and end-users and ensure that all code is properly commented
  • Communication: Able to communicate with users of various technical knowledge; translate business requirements into technical specifications and explain complex technical solutions effectively and concisely
  • Execute routine reporting processes (daily, weekly, monthly, annual) and distributes reports to the team
  • Handle ad hoc reporting requests and technical support when needed
  • Train team members on reporting processes and best practices
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities and works with peers and supervisors to execute on these opportunities
  • Support onboarding processes; own access management entitlements and provide approvals and assistance as needed
  • Support projects through full development lifecycle, including testing and training
  • Ability to work independently on tasks with little to no direction from management

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office: advanced Excel and Access knowledge required.
  • Strong time management skills; able to complete regularly scheduled reporting activities while also handling ad hoc requests and escalations
  • Experience creating and editing SQL queries and databases in SSMS and Access
  • Ability to create, debug, and maintain VBA macros in Excel, Access, and/or Outlook
  • Experience with SharePoint and/or Power Automate flows
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with audiences of varying technical knowledge; can communicate complex technical solutions effectively as well as translate business needs into technical specifications
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Comfortable with raising questions, issues, ideas or suggestions to team - strong team player
  • Self-motivator, detail-oriented with demonstrated ability to positively embrace and adapt to change and shift gears on the fly
  • Ability to adapt to change in responsibilities based on business need


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 72,300 - 120,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
