It's an exciting time to be a member of the Fisher Investments Technology Department! We're investing in the future of our firm's technology and are building our team to achieve global growth. We are looking for a Business Process Optimization Program Manager to join this growing team.

 

The Opportunity:

 

The Business Process Optimization Program Manager helps to assess needs across the corporation, managing resources to re-engineer processes and events affecting the efficient running of the organization. You will report directly to the VP of Business Process Optimization.

 

The Day-to-Day:

  • Manage the program to ensure the elements are completely and efficiently meeting the business requirements
  • Manage all phases of project from envisioning through deployment
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Based on evaluation, makes recommendations to management regarding solutions to resolve business problems
  • Assess requirements to deliver program components and sub-components, which may include implementation of solution, staffing of the projects, timelines.
  • Establish and maintain all timelines and budgets related to their section of the program
  • Coordinate all departments related to the program which may include IT, and Finance, Third-party Vendors and Business Users
  • Proactively manage changes in program scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
  • May work with department personnel, Business Analysts and Project Managers to evaluate current business processes and requirements
  • If needed, creates and manages vision and scoping documentation, program schedule, project checklists
  • Identify and manage program dependencies and critical path
  • Coach, mentor, motivates and supervises program team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
  • Develop best practices and tools for program execution and management
  • Work onsite, under direct supervision, in a team-based and open office environment

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Oversee the enterprise process management program, focusing on driving measurable process creation and improvements company-wide
  • Effectively communicate and gain agreement with senior stakeholders and key business partners to align program priorities with organizational goals and objectives
  • Manage the portfolio of projects and educational programs to establish and maintain a culture of continuous improvement
  • May be responsible for managerial responsibilities and development of a team responsible for effectively implementing business process management practices throughout the organization

Your Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience successfully using business process improvement or business process design methods to make substantive change.
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Elicit cooperation from several sources, including senior management, internal clients, and other departments
  • React to program adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Work with department personnel, Business Analysts and Project Managers to evaluate current business processes and requirements
  • Strong familiarity with change management
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required

Compensation:

  • $110,000 - $165,000 base salary per year in the state of WA - New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience
  • Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
