Authorium, you'll play a pivotal role in our Service Delivery team, collaborating closely with Solution Engineers (SEs) and Project Managers (PMs) to ensure efficient and effective customer onboarding. Your primary focus will be developing deep relationships with government clients, meticulously documenting their processes, understanding their current state, identifying product gaps, and clearly articulating the vision of success in the project charter. This role is crucial in translating complex government processes into streamlined, modern solutions that empower governments to access cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Process Analysis & Implementation
- Quickly learn complex government processes and the Authorium platform
- Research and understand relevant state and federal laws and translate them into business rules
- Create detailed process maps to visualize workflows and identify improvement opportunities
- Configure and implement solutions on the Authorium platform for client use
- Develop, evaluate, and validate solutions that meet business requirements
Client Engagement & Communication
- Build strong relationships with government clients through active listening and genuine curiosity
- Conduct discovery sessions to document current processes and requirements
- Explain complex technical concepts in simple terms accessible to non-technical stakeholders
- Create clear documentation and training materials for platform users
- Serve as the voice of the customer throughout implementation
Strategic Analysis & Improvement
- Analyze data and processes to provide actionable insights and recommendations
- Identify inefficiencies and design improved future-state processes
- Translate complex technical information into understandable deliverables
- Support change management efforts with clear transition plans
- Apply Agile methodologies to adapt as customer requirements evolve
Quality & Collaboration
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Identify and address issues that arise during implementation
- Ensure quality through testing and validation activities
- Contribute to the ongoing refinement of our service delivery approach
- Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience analyzing and documenting business processes, preferably in government or with government clients
- Proven experience with process mapping and flowcharting tools
- Strong data analytics skills with ability to derive meaningful insights from complex datasets
- Experience in solution assessment and validation to ensure alignment with business requirements
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software platforms and tools
- Experience configuring and implementing software solutions for clients
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate complex processes into clear documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Agile methodologies and iterative solution delivery
- Background in process improvement or change management
- Knowledge of government business processes including procurement, legislative analysis, budget changes, etc.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations impacting government operations
- Certification in process analysis methodologies (BPMN, Six Sigma, etc.)
- Advanced visualization tools experience (Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, etc.)
- Data analysis tools proficiency (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Experience working in a high-growth startup environment
- Track record of successful platform implementations and configurations

At Authorium, we’re well aware of the impact the government can have on people’s lives. We won’t rest until every government has access to the modern technologies the private sector takes for granted. The barrier here is legacy procurement processes that can be byzantine in complexity. Authorium makes products to modernize legacy procurement processes and as well as to pioneer greater agility in procurement using something we call a Challenge-Based Approach.
We are looking for a BPC to help understand customer needs and present solutions accordingly as we grow Authorium to the next level.
This role will include up to 25% travel for on-site customer work.
Employees located within 30 miles of our hub cities—San Francisco, Sacramento, and (coming soon) Washington, D.C. —are required to work onsite from Tuesday to Thursday. Remote work is available on other days.
