Job Description:

Business Process Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Tester to join our team, supporting the design, deployment, and maintenance of solutions in highly secure environments, particularly within government agencies and defense contractors. The successful candidate will have a strong background in requirements gathering, creating data visualizations and test plans, Agile methodologies, and process mapping to ensure the reliability and performance of K2 solutions.

HOW THE BUSINESS ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: 

  • Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Develop detailed business process models, workflows, and diagrams to visualize current and future state processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of new systems, processes, and tools.
  • Create and maintain documentation such as business requirements documents, user stories, and test cases.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements, resolve issues, and communicate project status.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to end-users on implemented solutions.
  • Review and analyze system specifications to understand testing requirements.
  • Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project documentation.
  • Execute test cases and report defects, ensuring thorough coverage of software functionality.
  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues and improve product quality.
  • Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing as necessary.
  • Participate in meetings and discussions to provide input on project status and quality concerns.
  • Document testing processes, results, and findings for future reference.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends and opportunities.
  • Assist in the preparation of business cases, feasibility studies, and project plans.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities such as user acceptance testing and system validation.
