The Portfolio Strategy & Product Operations team sits within the Community & Intelligence organization. The team drives several focus areas including offers, business operations and business development. The team’s mission is to connect our product organizations with actionable product/offer operational intelligence, bring offers to the sales organization that are easy to configure, price, quote and deploy and identify and deliver application value through cross application synergies and data partnerships.


Within this team, we have an opportunity for a Business Operations Analyst to work in a talented, cross-functional, highly collaborative team to analyze business data, generate insights, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize operational efficiency and drive business growth.


This individual must possess 3+ years of experience in business operations using Tableau, SQL or Tableau Prep, and strong critical thinking skills. The ideal candidate will have a solid business operations background along with Tableau skills. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, high data literacy, and intellectual curiosity. Ideally, you are an exceedingly organized, results-oriented individual who knows how to redirect around pitfalls, remain flexible and positive in an ever-changing environment. This role will thrive at collaboration with product managers and various cross-functional team members as both customers and partners.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Tableau to analyze and visualize complex business data and create insightful reports and dashboards for various stakeholders.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements, and develop data models and strategies to support business objectives.

• Conduct comprehensive data analysis and identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.

• DevelopSQL queries and scripts or use Tableau Prep to extract, manipulate, and transform data from multiple sources.

• Perform data cleansing, validation, and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.

• Analyze operational workflows, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions to streamline processes and enhance productivity.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop performance metrics and reporting frameworks.

• Present findings, insights, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analysis and visualization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in business operations as a Business Operations Analyst, Data Analyst or similar role.

• Proficiency in Tableau, with a strong understanding of data visualization best practices and techniques.

• Strong SQL or Tableau Prep skills for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.

• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

• Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data.

• Experience working with large datasets and data manipulation tools.

• Familiarity with business intelligence concepts and methodologies.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

Salary Range: $80,000 CAD - $95,000 CAD
