Position Summary
The Business Operations Analyst for MMA is an internal liaison between MHS and MMA and supports front office ambulatory registration processes. The incumbent monitors and evaluates the quality and effectiveness of front office teams in all MMA locations, creating and delivering training as necessary to increase overall staff competency. The incumbent decreases denials caused by registration errors, increases upfront collections and improves the patient experience. Work situations require system level problem solving, interpreting information from a variety of sources, and complex data analysis. This role works with minimal supervision and requires the use of discretion and good judgment in decision making. External contacts include third party, private insurance payers and application vendors such as EPIC, Availity, One Health Port, and Provider One. The analyst works directly with MMA leadership and finance, IS-Application analysts, revenue cycle, ILD, and others as necessary, to assure efficient front office practices.Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- BA in business, healthcare, or related field preferred
- Minimum three (3) years relevant healthcare systems and analytical experience including work in research and analysis of registration problems required
- Minimum one (1) year experience developing, implementing, operating, maintaining or using EPIC information systems in hospital and/or clinic settings

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $62,962.00 - $86,965.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
