Business Intelligence Analyst, Global Risk Operations - Menlo Park, CA | Remote, US
- Build business intelligence methodologies, processes, and analytic capabilities.
- Develop scalable, and self-sustaining analytic programs that support goal of advocating for and protecting every person, community, and business from risk on our platforms, across the world.
- Use quantitative and qualitative research to perform analyses on operational and platform risks, opportunities, and issues.
- Create solutions that deliver awareness and insights teams need, in a way that is accessible, timely, and meaningful.
- Synthesize data analysis into reports, dashboards, and presentations that provide a coherent narrative and recommendations about gaps and opportunities.
- Work closely with data development analysts who are responsible for building operational instrumentation and partner to communicate business requirements and options for infrastructure solutions.
- Identify data and tooling requirements in order to influence project prioritization and roadmaps.
- Provide data support for escalations while developing strategies to increase the organization’s ability to efficiently and autonomously investigate escalations via self-service tooling, coaching and mentoring that results in the improvement of Escalation domain specialists.

- Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Information Technology and Management, Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Statistics, Management Science or related field and 36 months of work experience in job offered or in a data-related occupation.
Experience must include 36 months of experience in the following: - 1. Advanced analysis using SQL, R, SAS or Matlab
- 2. Python, PHP or Haskell
- 3. Data mining and analysis
- 4. Synthesizing and interpreting large sets of data
- 5. Presenting data analysis to leadership or stakeholders
- 6. Developing or maintaining business intelligence for operations teams using outputs of pipelines, dashboards, and other data infrastructure
- 7. Data visualization tools (Tableau or Sisense).
Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
