At BetterLesson, our Business Development Representatives directly contribute to the growth of our organization. This growth is accomplished by developing a qualified sales pipeline to meet our revenue targets. This position provides an excellent opportunity to join a growing team and have an immediate impact. In this role you will be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and utilize cutting-edge technology to engage with prospective customers. 

Here are some things you can expect to accomplish in this role:

  • You will support Account Executives in generating qualified pipelines by developing and executing direct outreach campaigns through cold calls, email campaigns, and social channels to achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly outbounding targets.
  • You will identify districts and target contacts within your assigned territory by conducting research to compile outreach lists to generate qualified leads as well as to secure qualification meetings.
  • You will educate prospects on the BetterLesson value proposition through regular outreach campaigns and share BL content aligned with strategic initiatives, at the district level, to solve problems
  • You will track and measure success of direct outreach campaigns in your assigned territory, surfacing positioning, packages, and tactics that are supporting lead generation.

About You:

  • You have experience in business development, sales, or a related field
  • You have experience as a classroom teacher in K-12 Education. 
  • You have proficient knowledge and applied practice in Google Workspace, Salesforce, and Hubspot. 
  • You have the ability to travel approximately 10% of the year to select conferences.

The base salary range for this role is $52,750-$65,938/year. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on relevant education, training, experience, and job related skills of the applicant, and equity with other team members. Apply
