The Contribution You’ll bring to this Role:

We are looking for a proven Business Development Manager who can help us achieve our goal of driving exponential growth through our Grainger Distribution partnership over the next 5 years.  As a part of the Grainger team, you will contribute to our success by creating and implementing effective sales and business development initiatives in line with the global strategy. You will be responsible for leading sales efforts through Grainger by growing with targeted key end user targets served through Grainger, and directing the actions of internal sales resources and manufacturing partners’ efforts surrounding Grainger partnership.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive profitable growth through Grainger and exceed assigned sales targets.
  • Drive end-user specification at large end-users through Grainger in our targeted verticals by leveraging Grainger sales relationships in District, Region and National Accounts.
  • Create, plan and implement a strategy in alignment with Grainger sales strategy that ensures short-, medium- and long-term success.
  • Educate Grainger sellers, Independent Manufacturing Sales Teams and distributor partners on how to sell JSG products through Grainger.
  • Conduct joint sales calls to end-users with manufacturing sales reps, account managers and Grainger sellers managers to educate them on our products and to help them improve their key end-user engagements.
  • Partner and train Inside Sales to gain entry to new accounts, but to also service long tail customers
  • Drive new product introductions into Grainger served market with focus on key end user customers.
  • Drive growth of New Products into US and Canadian markets through Grainger.
  • Identify key end-users in targeted verticals and drive penetration through Grainger
  • Provide competitive feedback on products, channel, pricing to assist with business strategies.

Your Skills and Expertise:

To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum:

  • Significant experience driving sales through Grainger with focus in driving sell out through field sales interactions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related curriculum and/or 5 years relevant sales experience
  • Must maintain high level of integrity with representation of Justrite Safety
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of sales enablement tools and techniques, including Salesforce.
  • Experience with leveraging distributors or field sales teams to gain access to targeted end-users in focused segments.
  • Excellent ability to identify and gain entry to targeted large end-users in focused verticals and manage short, middle and long-term sales objectives.
  • Excellent end-user management skills and sales processes.
  • Strong experience driving end-user specification.
  • A willingness to travel 60% of the time.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Experience leveraging channel partners in the safety, industrial, and related vertical markets.
  • Experience driving end-user specification in the following segments: Manufacturing, Food and Beverage, Oil & Gas, Utilities, and Construction.
  • Experience selling Justrite Safety Group Products – Cabinets, Safety Containers, Cable Protectors, Wheel Chocks, Matting, Safety Identification.

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $115,000-$125,000.

Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.  Additionally, employees are eligible for performance-based bonuses tied to business targets, further enhancing their total compensation package.
