We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our efforts in selling corporate and enterprise access to The Information, as well as managing syndication and licensing opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong hunter mentality, capable of generating new business opportunities while maintaining existing relationships.What you'll do:
 Own named accounts across Enterprise Technology and Financial Services verticals.
Identify and pursue new corporate and enterprise clients for The Informationâs subscription services.
Handle inbound inquiries promptly and professionally, converting leads into successful partnerships.
Develop and implement strategic business plans for your named accounts, to achieve sales targets.
Present The Informationâs value proposition effectively to various stakeholders.
Accept and incorporate feedback to continuously improve sales strategies and personal performance.
Qualifications:
- Â 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the tech or media industry.
- Proven track record of successfully selling subscription services or enterprise solutions.
- Experience working with a CRM, Salesforce preferred.
- Ability to both originate new business, and proactively respond to inbound inquiries.
- Firm understanding of the enterprise technology space and its dynamics.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to operate autonomously and manage time effectively.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Hunter mentality with a passion for generating new business opportunities, while driving sales and achieving targets.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and client needs.
