This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Business Development Manager, Cooper Lighting Solutions - East Coast, a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth in our lighting solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and developing strategic plans to expand Signify’s market presence. This role requires a deep understanding of the US Retail channel, sales expertise, and the ability to work cross-functionally to deliver customer-centric solutions.

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to promote sales growth in targeted segments.

  • Proactively pursue and introduce new customers to our product offering by conducting weekly sales calls, while providing excellent service to our existing customers. Identify and engage new customers, partners, and markets to expand Signify’s footprint.

  • Create processes for converting new accounts and develop transition plans to ensure a seamless handoff to field sales teams and/or account managers.

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams (sales, marketing, product, and R&D) to tailor solutions to customer needs.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform business strategy.

  • Represent Signify at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
