Boulevard is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join us as the Business Data Architect. Reporting to our Director of Data Analytics, you will be responsible for setting the bar of quality and standards for our analytical pipelines: from raw data to executive dashboards  through the direct guidance and mentorship of our talented team of data analysts. The ideal candidate will be eager to produce high-quality work and guide our team through a transformative process in how analytical offerings are developed, deployed, and maintained.

What you'll do here:

• Design and implement a scalable analytical architecture that supports the entire analytics stack, including data transformation, modeling, and visualization
• Provide guidance and support to team members in their technical development and project execution
• Implement and enforce data quality standards, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and reliability of analytical models and dashboards
• Build robust data pipelines to transform data into analytics-ready data models based on business requirements
• Collaborate across functions to identify data analytics problems and execute solutions with technical rigor and data-driven insights
• Create data modeling and presentation best practice disciplines and standards to ensure clear, concise, and consistent reporting
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of data analytics projects, ensuring they align with organizational goals and objectives
• Document data architecture, models, and processes to ensure transparency and facilitate knowledge sharing
• Conduct regular audits of analytical processes and outputs to identify areas for improvement
• Evaluate, implement, and optimize analytics engineering tools and frameworks to enhance efficiency and performance

What you'll need to thrive:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline
• 10+ years of experience in a relevant analytics, business intelligence, or engineering  role within dynamic, outcome-driven organizations
• Strong expertise in data modeling, ELT processes, and database technologies
• 5+ years of experience developing models and best practices in dbt
• Experienced in using business intelligence tools, such as Sigma, Mode, Tableau, and Looker to communicate insights and enable self-serve
• Adept at crafting clear data stories to drive decision-making at every level
• Best-in-class attention to detail and unwavering commitment to accuracy
• Demonstrated ability to build effective partnerships across diverse teams and influence decision making with data
• Familiarity with SaaS products and understanding of product development processes, user experience, and customer behavior analysis
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and multiple projects.
• Ability to move things forward in the face of ambiguity, or with a lack of specific instruction. Able to operate effectively and keep key stakeholders informed of risks and trade-offs.
• Experience working in a SaaS or other technology-driven business.

How we'll take care of you:

Your total budgeted cash compensation for this role is between $145,000 and $207,000 USD, depending on your current skills, experience, training, and overall market demands. This range is subject to change, and there is always room for growth and advancement.
