Summary of Position
Teladoc Health is looking for a Business Continuity Manager to join our Operations and Governance Team. This role will focus on developing, maintaining, and testing Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), conducting Business Impact Analysis (BIA), and ensuring the company’s resilience during disruptions. A key role in maintaining certifications, conducting audits, and leading BCDR-related training initiatives.
In addition to BCDR responsibilities, the role will support other governance activities within the Operations and Governance team, including process improvement, policy development, ISO certifications, internal/external audits, and alignment of continuity efforts with operational needs. The role will collaborate across departments, use effective communication to drive a culture of integrity, and track performance metrics to recommend continuous improvement opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Business Impact Analysis (BIA): Conduct and facilitate BIAs to identify critical business processes, assess risks, and prioritize recovery strategies across departments.
- Business Continuity Planning: Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive Business Continuity Plans for all critical business functions to ensure timely recovery in case of disruptions.
- Testing & Drills: Lead and coordinate regular continuity tests and drills (including tabletop exercises and full-scale simulations) to evaluate readiness and identify areas for improvement.
- Certifications & Audits: Assist in maintaining relevant industry certifications (e.g., ISO 22301, SOC 2, etc.) and lead internal/external audits.
- Training & Awareness: Develop and deliver business continuity training programs for employees at all levels to ensure ongoing awareness and preparedness.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain up-to-date documentation of all continuity plans, risk assessments, test results, and compliance activities.
- Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and assess the effectiveness of continuity plans, procedures, and strategies, providing recommendations for enhancements.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with key stakeholders across the organization, including IT, legal, security, and operations, to ensure alignment and integration of continuity plans.
- Incident Response and Recovery: Partner with the BCDR Program lead to execute BCDR plans during disruptions, ensuring timely and effective recovery of critical operations. Conduct post-incident reviews and recommend improvements to enhance future responses.

Qualifications Expected for Position:
- Required Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in technology or healthcare industry, business continuity, risk management, governance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of business continuity principles & practices, disaster recovery, and risk management frameworks.
- Experience with conducting Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and developing Business Continuity Plans (BCPs).
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices (e.g., ISO 22301, NIST 800-34, etc.)
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with the healthcare industry and understanding of critical operational functions in telemedicine and virtual healthcare.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field.
- Preferred Experience:
- Experience with business continuity software and tools is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in performance management software and tools (SharePoint, Power BI, Microsoft tools a plus)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities.
- Master’s degree, relevant certification (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma, Business Continuity Professional Certification) a plus.

Travel percentage reflects an estimate and is subject to change dependent on business needs.
The base salary range for this position is $110,000- $120,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here Teladoc Health Benefits 2025. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
