Job Summary:

This position is the primary interface and relationship manager between the Information Technology Office and the business partners. Collaborates with the business organizations and identifies IT demand early in the ideation process. Serves as a focal point for building ITG's partnership with the division business, marketing IT services, assisting division IT requests and serves as a communication and escalation point for division concerns regarding IT service delivery.

This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Job Duties:

Acts as primary resource for enterprise business analysis including the planning and scoping of several interrelated IT Governance initiatives.

Gathers and documents high-level business requirements for the enterprise and understands business unit services, programs, requirements, and the business outcomes they wish to achieve including identifying changes to the business environment that could potentially impact the technology services.

Maintains business systems standards by applying project management methods, tools and processes as standard practice and will serve as a business organization escalation point of IT service delivery concerns.

Contributes to strategic planning of information systems and technology directions. Ensures ongoing project and non-project demand governance and ensures IT-enablement demands are captured, communicated, and met.

Knowledge:
* Thorough working knowledge of methodologies and techniques for systems analysis and design, business process modeling, requirements gathering, quality assurance, and software development.
* Expert knowledge of policies, procedures, programs and business goals.

Skill:
* Strong customer service skills.
* Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
* Proficient analytical skills to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, consolidate details and extract to functional requirements.
* Google Workspace

Ability:

* Balance, prioritize and organize multiple tasks.
* Work collaboratively in teams and across organizations.
* Synthesize feedback and adjust plans accordingly.
* Build strong relationships inside and outside the organization.
* Effectively translate user requirements into business, functional and test scenarios for projects of various sizes and complexity.
* Develop and write technical documentation.

Selective Preference(s):

Bachelor’s Degree and/or 15 years of experience in business analysis (or equivalent experience)

Pre-Employment Requirements:

This position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job and the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).
