Position Summary
The Business Systems Commercial Administrator II is a technical specialist for Commercial Lending processes and technology, managing Commercial systems to uphold bank underwriting, lending policies, compliance policies, and credit quality while improving loan production and customer experience. This individual supports delivery by assisting users, developing and verifying feature requirements, turning requirements into design, executing development/configuration, performing testing, arranging for user acceptance testing and participating in implementation activities. This role will provide system administration, technical guidance, and support services within the Business Systems team. The administrator collaborates with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to implement and maintain solutions ensuring efficient and effective processes with minimal disruption to customers and users in alignment with the organization's strategic goals.Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for all technical and process aspects of nCino, including analysis, planning, testing and implementation of related projects and tasks.
- Demonstrate understanding of nCino business rules, forms, tools, users, permission sets, groups, profiles, objects and fields, and roles.
- Develop working relationships with nCino’s support department.
- Create, update, and manage nCino support cases. This includes researching documentation within nCino’s Community platform, clearly defining the issue and actively working with vendor support teams to resolve.
- Create and maintain commercial lending system end-user setups and permissions.
- Exhibit meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrate agility in problem solving.
- Partner with Business Units to identify opportunities for improved business results.
- Identify and communicate risks related to process and configuration changes while analyzing requirements and developing solutions.
- Identify third-party integration opportunities between lending systems, bank core and supporting systems; troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing interfaces.
- Serve as a liaison between business units and technology teams.
- Administrative support of additional systems and special projects, as needed.
Education & Experience
Knowledge of:
- Proven capacity to understand complex business and technical concepts.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Project implementation and solution engineering.
- Advanced experience administrating Commercial lending technology, such as nCino and BottomLine.
- Comprehensive knowledge of lending policies, workflows, and technology.
- Comprehensive knowledge of project, process, and change management tools and methodologies.
- Comprehensive experience with scripting and automation technologies and programming languages, such as Java, XML, Apex, and SQL.
- Familiar with data mining and statistical analysis.
Ability to:
- Serve as a subject matter expert on special initiatives providing solutions to business problems and configuring nCino according to business requirements.
- Work with management to identify new and creative opportunities to leverage the application to support additional business processes or functions.
- Perform system implementations, configurations, and maintenance for Commercial Lending platforms; Troubleshoot and resolve software problems and performance issues independently.
- Work independently to ensure that processes are properly functioning, workflows and policies are followed, placeholders are maintained, the user base is managed appropriately, and the system complies with federal regulations.
- Facilitate commercial lending technology working group(s) focusing on identifying and resolving process and technology challenges and governance of change and release management processes.
- Enable new features independently. Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously improve data quality, process integrity and productivity based on business needs.
- Provide training and demonstrations of nCino enhancements and features to stakeholders to support delivery.
- Serve as the lead on nCino projects. Work with internal project teams and third-party vendors to optimize the bank’s use of the software.
- Provide guidance and leadership to Business Systems Commercial Administrators to continue to foster internal growth.
Education and Training:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) preferred.
- 4+ years of business/data analytics experience.
- Requires knowledge of commercial lending systems and processes.
- 5+ years of experience administering nCino LOS for a medium to large organization (200 – 499 users); Ability to interpret and change existing system configurations, including but not limited to: rules, triggers, forms, and workflows.
- 1+ years of Java, XML, Apex, or SQL coding experience.
- Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Willing to support upgrades and implementations during non-business hours.
- nCino Administrator certification. Experience with configuring nCino Lightning Experience a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary offered is based on factors, including but not limited to, the job duties, required qualifications and relevant experience, and local market trends. The role may be eligible for bonus or incentives based on company and individual performance.
