This position as Business Analytics Manager is responsible for providing support to all ends of the Freight Brokerage business. The BAM (Business Analytics Manager) will lead and facilitate projects from inception through hyper-care, such as, but not limited to, time studies, data modeling, and management reporting. The role will look for ways to continuously improve the business and should encourage efficiency and accuracy in the projects they run. The BAM will pull, analyze, and use data to support leaders in making key business decisions and ensure they are progressing in Operational KPIs. The role will need to ensure data hygiene is kept and maintain up-to-date process maps and SOPs. This person must be able to manage simultaneous projects and competing deadlines, as well as possess excellent communication skills, the ability to successfully lead high-level meetings and projects, and an eagerness to learn and grow.

Responsible for:

  • Leading cross-functional meetings, projects, and workshops to drive progress, communication, and decision making across all facets of the business
  • Driving operational improvements through various projects and data analysis, measured through overall KPIs and specific Product KPIs
  • Running weekly and ad hoc management reporting and speaking with data
  • Ensuring Process Maps and SOPs are up to date
  • Monitoring data quality and ensuring data hygiene is kept
  • Creating PowerBI dashboards and data models in Excel
  • Scheduling and leading hyper-care and project implementation calls and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Finding new ways to improve the business, innovate, and drive change

Skills:

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, Teams)
  • Proficiency in advanced tools such as PowerBI, Power Query, Power Automate, and VBA
  • Experience in business analytics
  • Proven project management (PMI certification prefferd or Lean Six Sigma)
  • Ability to manage and analyze large data sets and present analysis to senior leadership

Pay Range:   $105,000 to $110,000*


*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
